After completion of the undergraduate law programme, students will be able to –
- Understand the concept of justice and the role of law as a tool for social transformation.
- Appreciate the structure and philosophy of the Indian legal and justice system.
- Analyse substantive law within its political, social, economic, and global contexts.
- Apply substantive and procedural laws, as interpreted by courts, to real-life scenarios.
- Develop core professional skills of advocacy, negotiation, drafting, and judicial reasoning.
- Utilise diverse sources of information, including international conventions and treaties, and appreciate their incorporation into domestic law.
- Employ modern technology effectively in legal research, argumentation, policy formulation, and legislative drafting.
